Creating stories and sharing them with others is considered to be a type of intellectual activity characteristic of humans. Fiction has played a significant role in human history. It has played a significant role in the history of mankind, including the promotion of empathy toward other agents, the understanding of interactions among agents, and the sharing of future possibilities (≒vision) for the future among multiple agents. In particular, the role of "science fiction" based on scientific and speculative ways of thinking has been attracting much attention recently, and science fiction has been playing a significant role not only as a means of communicating science and technology, but also as an example of a vision for a future society that includes science and technology, and problems created by different people. In this session, we will discuss the role that science fiction has played in intelligence research, especially in artificial intelligence research, and the role of people exchanging ideas through fiction, focusing on the research on artificial intelligence and science fiction and research on science fiction prototyping to create visions collectively, which have been conducted by the organizers so far. 物語を作成し，それを複数体で共有することは，人間に特徴的な知的働きの一種であると考えられる．人類史においてフィクションが果たした役割は大きい．他のエージェントに対する感情移入を促すこと，複数のエージェント間の相互作用を理解すること，そして，未来に対する将来の可能性（≒ビジョン）を，複数エージェント間で共有することなどが，その役割として挙げられる．特に昨今では，科学的な思考法，思弁的な思考法をもとにした「SF」の果たす役割が多く注目されている．SFは科学技術を伝える手段としてだけではなく，科学技術を含んだ未来社会へのビジョン，異なる人々が生み出す問題点を例示する役割として，大きな機能を持ってきた．本企画セッションでは，これまでオーガナイザーが実施してきた人工知能とSFに関する研究や，集団でビジョンを作成するSFプロトタイピングに関する研究を中心に，これまでSFが人工知能研究を中心とした知能研究に果たしてきた役割や，フィクションを介して人々が発想を交換する役割について検討する．そして，フィクションが，未来社会においてどのような役割を持ちうるかを検討する．
